A Prestige construction quality review should separate what the brand promises from what each project delivers. Prestige has built about 313 projects, and its quality reputation is a large part of why buyers choose it, but quality is ultimately confirmed project by project.
Independent assessment is a good starting point. CRISIL's DA1+ grading, the highest it awards developers, reflects Prestige's ability to execute projects in line with specified quality levels and timelines. The company's portfolio of offices, malls and hotels also requires building standards that carry over into its homes.
Prestige apartments build quality starts with structure. At our featured Thanisandra project, the plans specify an RCC framed structure designed to Indian Standard codes, with basement parking, passenger and service lifts in each tower, and rainwater harvesting, a sewage treatment plant and solid-waste management.
Layouts are a quieter sign of quality. Every home in the project has as many toilets as bedrooms, a separate utility, bedrooms at least 11 feet wide and a living balcony of roughly 19–20 feet. Regular room shapes make furnishing easier and use space well.
Prestige materials and finishes for this project will be listed in the specification schedule released at launch. Bathrooms will use branded sanitaryware and CP fittings, with brands named in that schedule. When it arrives, check flooring, doors and windows, electrical load and power backup against other projects at a similar price.
Quality can also be judged in person. Visit a completed Prestige project of a similar size, speak to residents and look at common areas after a few years of use. During construction, follow milestone updates and site photos, and at handover inspect your home carefully, noting any finishing issues for correction.
A fair Prestige construction quality review is therefore something you complete over time. Our specifications page includes a checklist for reviewing the launch schedule. For the project overview, see Prestige Thanisandra, and for delivery timelines, our delivery guide.
